Very special to stay on the ship. The room was spotless and very quiet.

We loved the SS Rotterdam but the beds were uncomfortable and the mattress would slide and hang off the bed. The WiFi in the rooms was very poor.

We where greeted my a Gentleman William dressed in a Ship Uniform, he gave us some
good advice, like free shuttles, water taxi and
water bus, very informative.

Without exception all employees were extremely pleasant and helpful. The person working security on the initial night of our 4 night stay went beyond the norm to show us to our room at midnight. She even suggested a safe place for our bicycles and helped us carry them.
The next day Frank who is one of the first people a visitor encounters also went above and beyond by obtaining a luggage cart and loading our very heavy suitcase on it. All done with a cheerfullness that belies the effort it required.
Finally, Gideon was a wonderful ambassador for the hotel.
The visit was so exceptional that even though there are many other properties at which to stay in Rotterdam, the S.S. Rotterdam hotel will be my choice in the future.
