Hotel Granada Centro

Hotel Granada Centro—I booked Superior double room, it was a very spacious room with high ceilings, block out curtains, balcony. Aircon worked well but could only work when you are in the room, though the aircon cooled the room quickly once turned on. Shower gel and hand soap were provided. Clean, standard-quality towels and bedding. Bath towels were a bit small and rough. Soft, comfy pillows; the mattress is on the firmer side. Wardrobe with coat hangers, a mini-fridge, and a kettle were provided. The power point for the kettle was located behind the luggage bench. The TV was attached to the wall right above the table; it was a bit inconvenient. Sufficient lighting options in the room. Power points by the bed. It's an older hotel with a nice, inviting lobby and 24 hours reception. The elevator is very convenient. I stayed in a large room with a street view, some traffic noise and other noises but with the windows shut it was not too bad. The traffic noise from the main street was audible in pick hours. The hotel is only 2 bus stops (bus no. 4) from the train station and about 25 mins from the bus station, by bus. Plenty of buses nearby to get to the center or to the bus/train stations. Nothing much negative to report, apart from my 1st room on the third, which I really liked; had a cigarette smell in the evening on my check in day. I stayed in the room as there were no other rooms available to move me. Staff member was were attentive and came over to check the problem. The next day they moved me to another room, but the handbasin sink was making a blockage sound every time I used it. It was a bit annoying. The kettle had dust on the lid, and the power point that was behind the luggage bench was coming off the wall. I thought it was unsafe. But overall, it was a very pleasant stay. The staff was friendly and helpful. Wi-fi was good. I enjoyed coming back to my big, comfortable room after a busy day of exploring. I would stay here again.

the hotel is near bus stations and very near most churches like basílica de san juan de dios, perpetual church, and monasterio de san geronimo. the hotel is also few minutes away from the train station, very short and quick taxi ride. the hotel is very clean and smells always good. the staff are very friendly, kind and helpful! i had a very pleasant stay and hope to come back!

Location is great, it is a simple hotel and quite confortable, the hotel offers a microwave and water, which is quite handy.The only thing I didn't like was the bathroom, the bath is quite old and the cleaning could be improved, also, the parking is not on-site, it is located on another street, the parking is quite narrow, if you have a big car, I don't recommend parking there.
