    The location is unbeaten. Cavtat is stunning and Hotel Croatia, perched on the hilltop overlooking the Adriatic Sea, has the best views. The hotel itself is huge, more like a city. The restaurant breakfast buffet was great, the local restaurants are a short walk and offer a wide range of delicious food options for lunch and dinner. The outdoor pool is a nice size and offers a mix of sun of shaded spots. We favoured the beachside loungers with the most fantastic view, a short walk from the town Center and served by the Spinaker bar and restaurant . The indoor pool, sauna, steam room were also a nice benefit and the saunas even had sea views. Staff are friendly and helpful, our refurbished room was clean and spacious with a tree top view. Take time to explore the walks and pathways around and head to Dubrovnik, further north through Croatia or even Montenegro and further.

    Everything about this hotel is superb. The staff, the cleanliness, the food, the amenities, the location and even the golf buggy ride down to the sea front. Well done Agoda for finding me this gem.

    Really is more of a lower 4 star resort. The pools outside wsre closed for 2 out of the 3 days we were there. Our bathroom leaked for 2 days so had to move room and staff generally felt very unapologetic for the situation. Was not the luxury rrsort we thought we had paid for. The day thr pool was open they were really cold, including the indoor one that had more of a local leisure centre vibe than spa resort. Sunbed were mostly full or reserved. Good service of drinks and food around the pool though and location was good for a few nights with Cavtat being a beautiful spot. Breakfast was a great selection but the lunch food and dinnet we tried was very average at high costs. Wouldnt recommend or stay again. Moved to Hotel Dubrovnik Palace which was much nicer and more to the standard we had been expecting of a 5 star resort.
