Room was clean and comfortable but lot of noise from scraping of chairs and walking on the hard floor in the room above. Staff were very helpful, friendly and approachable. We had a small issue with our aircon which was sorted immediately. Indoor pool was ok but outdoor pool was too cold to get into. More signage around the hotel would have been useful. Breakfast was good but it wasn’t explained how it worked. We spent the first morning wandering around trying to find a table.

Super hotel - this is what they used to be like 25 years ago before corporate chains sanitised them. Lovely staff throughout all areas. Dining room is busy but staff lay your table and attend to you straight on arrival and also clear really promptly, so it always looks smart. Big selection of food for breakfast and dinner, we enjoyed all meals. There is a sunset terrace near the Piano Bar for spectacular evening photos over the Adriatic. Clifftop coastal path from the children's playground will take you the (long) way down to picturesque Cavtat harbour passing 20th century defence bukers on the way. Balconies are quite small but the sea views are teriffic. All areas spotlessly clean. October visit, the outdoor pool was freezing! Drinks are a bit pricey but not much different from the prices in town. 45 minute bus ride into Dubrovnik costs 4 euros, but make sure you get off when the driver says 'city' or you will end up at the cruise terminal miles from anywhere.

Beautiful property. Even in a hillside facing room, you feel like you are completely alone….until the people next door talk. Room was quite noisy. All the people in rooms on either side were doing was talking in a normal volume.

Staff members were great, especially the guys who handle the luggage and the cars, and the staff in the restaurant and at the beach. The room was lovely and well appointed. Loved the views!!

Hotel is great but, given that it is 125 steps to get up to the hotel, they need to improve the running of their golf cart service. They seem to only come down when they are carrying people down and frequently there were several groups waiting at the bottom of the hill with no cart in sight. They need to either run the golf cart regularly every 5 or 10 minutes or install a phone or other communication method at bottom. I saw many people, some of who did not look especially mobile, give up and trudge up the 125 steps.

Staff is great, like to mention how friendly and accommodating Mia at guest relations was, Also our house keepers were always smiling and chatty. Unfortunately we felt a bit deceived by the name/price of our room type. We booked and paid for a superior room with a balcony and sea view but we found out any “superior” room simply means sea view. And after seeing the renovated rooms on the upper floors and our rooms having to be changed and key cards deactivating 4 times we do not feel like we had any “superior” perks. After talking to other guests it is best to book last minute as they seem to give any good rooms left to last minute guests at a lower rate

Could not fault the hotel and everything within and around it. I do believe though, people dhould not be allowed to reserve sunbeds by putting a towel on them in the morning. That was my only grumble.

Everything was great but there was no activities since it’s after September, which felt a bit boring. Cavtat is a small city as well so not much to do outside.

Overall, the hotel is of a good standard, the room was disappointingly small . The hotel is on a lovely location and the buggy service is particularly useful for people with mobility issues as it is 100+ steps up from the beach. Some issues in the room which were reported on day one were not all attended to immediately. There was an ant issue believed to be caused by a lack of cleaning which was sorted immediately. The balcony, I do not believe was cleaned during our stay. The rainforest shower head was hanging out of the ceiling and took three days to sort after repeated requests. A full apology was made but is not really acceptable in a hotel of this standard. I believe there must be a wasps nest somewhere around the hotel as the breakfast terrace was constantly attacked by wasps. Table availability at breakfast was not great as emptying tables after use was not as prompt as it could be. Overall, I would possibly stay here again as it was pleasant despite the issues.

Could not have picked a better place to stay. Chose Cavtat over Dubrovnik and so glad we did. The hotel was amazing. It was so expansive we got lost the first day trying to find the restaurant. Our room was to die for - the most stunning views over the Adriatic and the rocky coastline. A balcony to enjoy sundowners. Breakfast was amazing - something for everyone. Loved the little golf cart transport down to the old town - so convenient.

Took the Mrs here for her birthday, short weekend break. Got upgraded to a sea view, Beautiful ! Amazing location Surrounding areas clean Friendly locals & staff Amazing views Great amenities Good breakfast. Great pools with salt water Food and drinks by the pool was good. Nudist beach was great if that’s your thing. Great value for money. We will be back!

The rooms were beautifully refurbished and we had an amazing sea view from the Superior room however certain elements we were a little disappointed with, there was zero chance to get a sunbed around the very small outside pool even less when people reserved the beds with towels and then left them. Our room was not cleaned every day and needed to request a visit from housekeeping in order to receive clean towels also the removal of room service crockery from the evening before, also the attitude of certain staff members predominantly the younger waiting on staff was poor by no means are we saying all were like this but the ones we came into contact with at mealtimes were quite rude

Lovely stay. Staff friendly. We were greeted by Marko who was very friendly and upgraded us to seaview room with balcony on arrival. It was my sons birthday and a lovely birthday cake was left in room for him 😃 quite a few steps up and down to town but were not too bad at all and you have choice of getting golf buggy up and down if you need to. Would definitely recommend.
