    Excellent breakfast worth the money. Convenient location - about 10 minutes underground walk (flat) from JR airport train, airport bus stops at the entrance of the hotel. Located in the city center, walking distance to almost all sightseeing locations. Very friendly, helpful staff.

    Location is what you are paying for. There's an airport bus near the hotel. Very accessible.

    If you are not in a renovated room, the room is obviously dated and desperately needs updating. There is visible amount of dust caught in vents, the room smells musty with no window that opens out. But for the convenient location between Sapporo Station and Susukino, there isn't much else going for it. The underground tunnel connection is useful.

    Sapporo Grand Hotel is located at great area of the city. Just walk out the door and literally go down the stairs/elevator to the underground shopping streets connecting major malls and train stations. Hotel has many F&B options and the Lawson store is but a stone's throw for daily needs. Airport bus available just outside. Hotel staff , whether in front desk or concierge or in the hotel rooms or restaurants were all attentive helpful and able to meet all reasonable needs. The hotel is not the most modern but is clean and well maintained. Will be back.
