This is peak tourist season for Manitou Springs, so, for the location can not really expect too much better price. Room and Bathroom were ok and clean. Breakfast (continental) could have been a little better (sausage one day, then egg another day...we stayed 2 days...but not both), and ran out of coffee. Two cleaning issues: doors do not have any bottom door stop to keep dust from blowing into the rooms. Plus (even after mentioning twice to the two managers), hall ways were not cleaned up of 'trash' (hence the pictures)...they said they 'cared' but did not do anything about it...blamed the cleaner, instead, of following up. Basically an ok place to say for an night or two (the man who checked us in was very nice and helpful...we had to swith rooms because wind shade was broken).

We called for a late check in and they put keys in a lock box. When we arrived around 1:45am got the keys and carried our bags upstairs to find the keys didn’t work. I called and it took 10 minutes to get a hold of someone help. When we got in the room it stunk like cigarette smoke and it was supposed to be a non-smoking room. The shower curtain was filthy and there was hair on the walls. They may have renovated, but they are not cleaning. Customer service offered points for our trouble. Points are useless since we will not stay at a Quality Inn again.
