The hotel lobby is nice and the stores are beautifully decorated. The room was nice and clean but had wacky design and bulky grandma arm chairs which took away the beauty of the room. The staff at the adult pool were nice and friendly. Their Black Ginger restaurant is overrated and overpriced, especially for Thai dishes. Breakfast had many food options but the quality was okay. Overall, the resort is beautiful but has no private beach.

We have traveled many countries and stayed in many excellent hotels but THE SLATE exceeds them all! We have had a great time, everything at the hotel was perfect. Great and friendly personnel, awesome food at the breakfast buffet, beautiful and extravagant rooms with huge beds and huge bathroom... :)
