    We booked a one bedroom apartment, the size was smaller than the Quest Newmarket that we stayed previously however, it was spacious enough for 2 persons with 3 luggages. Great locations right in the center of CBD. Near to public transport and lots of cafes and eateries around. Can walk to the waterfront within 7 mins and 3 mins to supermarket, 7 mins to sky tower. The apartment was clean and has a washer and dryer which was a big plus for our 7 weeks stay. The sound proof of the windows were quite good when closed. Ask for a unit that face the waterfront otherwise can be noisy during weekend. We had no problem with the noise occasionally during our stay.

    I stayed at QonQ for three nights and it was as expected. By this I'll go over a summarised pros and cons for this service apartment. Pros: - great location for shopping. Close to downtown shopping centre (Commercial Bay) and loads of convenience stores and a supermarket across the road (New World). - friendly and welcoming staff. - full service apartment that has everything from washing machine, dryer, fridge and full kitchenette. - comfy and clean. Well layed out and air conditioned as well. - full complimented bathroom. Has bodywash, soap, shampoo and conditioner and the shower pressure was great, to me one of the best from all the places ive stayed at. Cons: - slightly archaic security. Although you can't fault the front entrance or lifts, still using a key for the door to the room is very old school but not a deal breaker. - noise from the streets was quite noticeable but to me, not a deal breaker as well as it was not a bother and I like the street noise. I have it as a con for those who prefer quieter rooms. - noise from other rooms seems to come through the walls but again, not that bad as it is only when someone opens and closes their room doors. - carparking could be on site but hard to have at this location. Close walk still (around 3mins) but on rainy days, don't forget to bring an umbrella as you do need to cross the road a couple of times. Also (this is more a Wilson parking thing) but the carpark is not 24hrs and even if you make it in before they close at 10pm, you can get locked inside. Having to call a number to let you out is not ideal (but as stated, not the hotel but is a Wilsons parking issue) but is the hotel parking, should you choose to opt for this additional feature. Overall, a great place to stay short term and I would recommend and even stay there again.

    1. When booking it did not indicate any charges for car park. Please see attached 2 pages extracted from Agoda booking. Car park is in the list of free facilities. If charges apply Quest/Agoda website should not have included "car park" in that free list. OR should have indicated " charges apply". But I was compelled to pay NZD***+Tax. for parking. Furthermore after a few days I was asked to relocate my car to another carpark further away from Quest. 2. Ms. Tanmayee Gange was extremely rude, argumentative and abusive when I most politely tried to explain this few days after I had check in and paid all dues in advance. She even threatened to cancel my bookings and throw me out. 3. NZD 200 was deducted from my credit card that I had used for booking at Agoda, a few days before i checked in, as deposit without my consent or knowledge. You should not debit my credit card arbitrarily. This is deplorable business practice and that money has not been refunded to me to date.
