Everything was outstanding, the staff was friendly, extremely polite and made sure everything was to our liking. We splurged in the dinner train experience. It was well worth the extra. The experience will forever be forged in our hearts and memories..if you can afford , take the time or value a different experience go for it ♥️

Historic building but personally felt some modernization could be done without compromising the aesthetic qualities for example automate closing of the elevator doors. Also the access path to the property should be widened and resurfaced for safety reasons. Beautiful gardens and friendly helpful staff are redeeming features

Lovely hotel, amazing history and features.
Gardens are spectacular, views are great and small tea factory is a lovely touch. Food could be better (ate dinner and breakfast) but overall a lovely hotel with great heritage.
