Property advertised having spa & massage facilities on site. We booked based on this as travelling with my elderly mother. The spa facilities had been closed since COVID 5 years ago!! Rooms have not been updated or maintained to the photos of 5 years ago. Outside shower does not work, was told to run hot water in the bath tub if wanted a hot tub??

Everyone was always happy and welcoming. House keeping never disappointed. Privacy was good. Safe environment, would even stay with my kids. Downfall was the bed not really being to comfortable, mattress is due for an update. And the pool bar was never opened, however it was not peek season when we stayed. But i think the hotel add should specify if it is closed during periods of time. Overall cant complain and would stay here again. Felt safe and it was in a terrific location. Staff made our time lovely.

Great location in Seminyak - close to cafes, restaurants, shops etc. Hotel is quite old and needs a bit of a refresh (pool area, rooms). Bathroom / shower needed a good deep clean. Rooms not noise protected, could hear everything from property next door throughout the night. Gardens nice.

Putu villas are right in the Main Street of Seminyak but you wouldn’t know it! They have a beautiful tranquil garden, old school Bali charm, and free access to the gym at the front of the complex. Felt super relaxing to be there. The property is older so it’s not all that flash, but I think the price is fair for what you get.

We had the most incredible holiday. Myself and family stayed for nearly 3 weeks it was certainly great value and beautiful authentic accommodation. Friendly helpful staff and very clean.

Great traditional feel to the villas. We loved the outdoor shower and the feeling of having a shower while it’s raining really nice. The room is a good size and the air conditioning worked very well. The only thing really wrong with the room would be that’s it’s very dark. Fantastic service. The staff were very helpful and on afternoon during a storm our room stared to leak from the roof and when we let them know, they immediately got a ladder and fixed the problem. It was pouring rain and lightning but they still got up on the roof and had a look. The restaurant had delicious food and drinks.

The villas are quite off the street which is nice. The AC worked well, and the grounds are filled frangipanis which gives the place an authentic feel. The rooms were a little outdated, and could do with a bit of maintenance. We didn’t love the outdoor shower area, but is fine if you’re not afraid of bugs etc.

The villa had screws poking out from the walls, the kitchen and bathroom were disgustingly dirty, the cooking pan was burnt and very old. The fridge wasnt cold, the chairs and bedsheets had stains all over them! There is someone who sweeps the entire pathways right outside of your room every morning around 6am, which i woke up to multiple times! Not happy! Complained directly at check out and they just said 'sorry', did nothing and still took all my money! Bad service. The photos look better than real life!

Great location, very nice garden setting, really good gym & pool. However the resort is showing its age: lots of little broken things everywhere, eg the free-floating electric wire in the pool looks bad and gives a feeling of discomfort. Also, broken shower curtain rail in the bathroom and old, noisy fridge leaking water onto the floor. Wi-fi very weak in my room; had to go to bar area to work. If they just fixed all these small things, it would make a big difference.

We had a terrible experience there and safety was a big issue which we raised with them, and also the bugs that were in our bed everday and night, and their solution was spraying the bed with bug spray. There was stained sheets and pillow cases put on our bed when changed. We had to change rooms on the 2nd day as the electricity kept going off. The wiring is a real health & safety issue, and we advised them of this. Management gave poor service. We had something go wrong in our room everyday, and the wi-fi does not work. It was filthy and a disgusting place to stay. I've been to Bali 16 times and this was the worse stay ever, and we have decided we wont be going back to Bali anytime soon now, because off this horrible experience, and the way it was handled was very unprofessional. If this Hotel was in Perth it would be closed down straight away...

I have stayed here several times over the past ten years or so. The hotel is excellent in terms of value for money. I like its location - walk to the beach; its lovely garden setting and the individual bungalows. The only negs were that my mosquito net wasn't able to close properly and there were a few small tears in it. I wouldn't have been concerned except that there were a few mozzies in my room. The room does come with a can of fly spray however. The 'outdoor' shower was lovely and the staff were always friendly and helpful.

Loved staying here again. My second time. The staff are always lovely. The bonus is the onsite gym which has great equipment for a proper workout.
