    Firstly, the hotel entrance was extremely difficult to find. Once the main entrance facing the shopping centre closed at 7 pm, we wandered around the building for ages without being able to locate the hotel entrance; it was only when a security guard from the shopping centre swiped his own access card that we finally found the lift leading to the entrance. Secondly, the free parking advertised by the hotel simply did not exist; we had no choice but to park in the shopping centre’s paid public car park. Finally, the hotel’s check-in arrangements were rather troublesome: the self-service check-in machines were on the 8th floor, but a key card was required to open the glass doors – yet how could we have a key card without having checked in? We eventually entered through the main entrance with the help of other guests, only to find that both check-in machines were out of order and there were no staff members on site. In the end, we were only able to check in after a member of staff remotely operated the system via telephone. The whole process took nearly an hour.
