Wonderful hotel. I will be staying here again. The history about it is fascinating. The view from the balcony is amazing. Very comfortable and warm feeling. Staff was excellent. I loved it.

The room was gorgeously put together. The whirlpool tub was clean and functioned properly. The balcony viee was nice, but the door leading out to it was broken off of the slider and bent so it couldn't be put back on. The bed was really nice and comfortable. The bathroom was clean, functioning correctly, and had an abundance of extra helpful supplies.

Very nice hotel on a hillside overlooking Madison. My room had a balcony. I wish I’d had more time to hang out on it. Breakfast was pretty standard but fine. Room was huge and clean. There is a bit of truck noise from the road heading over the bridge. Nicest hotel I’ve stayed at I awhile.

The hotel itself is very nice - the staff was wonderful, the room was beautiful and the view off the balcony was wonderful. My only complaint, and this is very subjective, is that the beds were way too firm. I couldn’t sleep at all and my kids also complained…but if you like a firm mattress, you’ll love it! The breakfast was very nice - eggs, potatoes, bacon, lots of bread products, juices, coffee, teas, fresh fruit, waffles, etc. It was kept well stocked and we really enjoyed it.

First time staying in the King Suite w/ Fireplace. It was very nice and clean. I can see why this room is booked up months in advance for the cooler months. Fireplace and jetted tub is a perfect setting for a Romantic nite w your significant other. Only complaint is not about the room but with the Breakfast. Needs an upgrade in the quality but it's still nice just been the same for I know the past 6 yrs. The dining area needs a little love and attention also. Updates and window cleaning should be a priority in the near future.

Really nice view of downtown. We were on the 3rd floor and could see the span of the town and were able to watch the sunset. Enjoyed the covered patio with a table and 2 chairs. The hotel itself is extremely dated, but it is what we expected. Breakfast was food-service style standard hot continental breakfast, which we didn't eat. (Coffee was instant..or just really not good. We couldn't figure it out.) Loved the queen room with the jetted tub. Also loved the Gilchrest and Soames soap/lotion. Would we stay here again? Yes. Is it worth a Saturday night stay at $195/night (including taxes)? No, but it was convenient access to the town.

The lady at the front desk was very friendly. Check in went smoothly. Though clean, it's obviously an older hotel but you can tell it's had some updates. The free breakfast was good with your standard hotel breakfast options. I loved the balcony and the view of both the town and Ohio river was a nice touch.

This property needs to remodel very badly and it’s not safe for walking off the property!! It has a very bad incline to drive up or off the property! The rooms are very old looking and smells old too!!!

The room was very clean, including bathroom area. Loved the shower head and bathroom amenities. The balcony was wonderful with a perfect very of surroundings. Breakfast room was clean and comfortable with a good variety of food items. Ice machine closed on middle floor of hotel. Very close to all the attractions in town. The staff was very attentive and helpful. Mattress was very firm, but that seems pretty standard these days and I guess some people like that. I would recommend and will absolutely stay here again if back in town.
