We checked in at 11PM and checked out at 6:30AM - so didn't really get to see much of the hotel in day light or use the facilities. But our short experience was good. The room was nice and cute, the breakfast was pretty good too. The staff seemed courteous.

People sleeping above me were blasting music until 3am when I had to call front desk i had to get up at 6am and at 5 am they were scrubbing something and showering/flushing toilets literally never slept. Also smoking and it clearly says no smoking within 25 yards. in front 2 men with doors open were fixing a car and smoking I couldn't even get in my car to pack up and leave and I felt unsafe although i usually really like this hotel I think security and curfew should have been better. Cold water also didn't work at kitchen sink to fill/drink water. Breakfast was great. Again I normally like it here we use it during volleyball tournaments with our family but this was not a good visit.

The room was clean. Service was great. The shower from above leak like I was showering in the bathroom. Offered to move our room but this was difficult as we were leaving very early and getting back late. Don’t get room 3126! The manager was to call me and never followed up with me. The breakfast was adequate.

Lion’s Gate is a somewhat historic property on the old McClellan Air Force Base. Check in was fast and without problems.

The heater in our room was broken. The inside temp was 54 degrees. (Outside 44) When I let the staff know, they said they knew it was broken, and didn't usually book that room, but as it was a busy weekend they did! Unbelievable to put someone in a room with a broken heater! I have attempted to speak with a manager and haven't heard back!!

This is NOT a hotel, it is an old travel lodge motel renovated for more long term stays. Checking in cause a fraud alert on my regular card, had to switch to a different pay card. Check in clerk didn't seem to care about doing her job. Room was ok, bed creaked a lot just rolling over. And some very loud mechanical noise from the room above.

Were not made aware of the fact that the pool is 'closed for the season'. It was not mentioned in any paperwork nor any of the booking information nor at check-in. My husband found out (AFTER being given towels FOR THE POOL at the FRONT DESK) by running into a sign on the gate to the pool! There is also a discrepancy between the information on the 'room card' regarding the free breakfast, which DOES exist but which we ALMOST missed by going OUT for breakfast because the card refers to it as a 'Continental breakfast'! Room had a musty, chlorine-y odor when we first entered, ironic being that the pool was closed!

The room was spotless, the room included a small kitchen with a stove, refrigerator, coffee maker and microwave, staff were fantastic, and the complimentary breakfast was outstanding. I will definitely stay there again.
