    Located off a side street in a less-trodden neighborhood near understated sights, a large shopping center with Migros with a strong candy store within to purchase great lokum. Street noise was a bit intrusive in my street facing room, but facilities were strong in spacious room and a short walk to transportation

    We stayed at easyHotel Nice Old Town for a few days, and I’d like to share our experience. The location of the hotel was very good. It’s in the heart of Nice’s Old Town, within walking distance to many attractions, restaurants, and the beach, which made exploring the city quite convenient for us. There’s also a shopping center with a large Carrefour just 100 meters from the hotel, which was very handy for picking up groceries and essentials. The staff were very kind and friendly, always ready to help with a smile whenever we had a question, which gave us a great impression. As for the facilities, I have to say the hotel is very basic and practically offers nothing in terms of amenities. However, this seems to be part of the hotel’s policy to keep costs low. For example, you could get free hot and cold water in the lobby, which was nice. They also provide a hairdryer, iron, or umbrella upon request at the reception for free, which was a helpful touch. One thing to note is that the rooms aren’t cleaned during your stay unless you request it and pay an extra fee. We were aware of this and it wasn’t an issue for us, but it’s something to keep in mind before booking. Overall, if you’re looking for a clean and simple place with a very good location at a low cost, this hotel can be a good choice. However, if you’re expecting more amenities, you might want to consider other options.
