Great location and quiet near self park and restaurants and shopping, plus one if the most impressive massive middle ages Gothic cathedrals ... larger than Notre Dame in Paris with Marc Chagall Windows.

Just next to the SNCF Grenoble station and Tram. Very convenient for late arrival or early leave. Close to the city center by taking Tram. Front desk staffs are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is wonderful to me. Standard room not so spacious. Bed is comfy though. The down side is the bath room, the shower wall blocked the light, the shower drain is clogged, I had to stand in the dirty water while showering.

Loved the location - directly across from the train station and car rental places nearby. Quick walk to the Grenoble bubbles. Wish the rooms or at least lobby had AC but that's the American in me! Otherwise very clean, large TV (enjoyed watching World Cup and TdF coverage).

I chose the hotel because of its location. It is comfortable and the room was nice and clean. However, upon arrival I was told that my reservation had been cancelled and that the hotel was fully booked. I still do not understand how that was possible since I had not contacted the hotel at any point. In the end my reservation was found and I was given a room; but it gave origin to an uncomfortable feeling for the whole stay.

Staff unwilling to listen to suggestions for improvement and passive aggressive. I would either fire them or at least retrain them. This includes the van drivers.

Check in was minimal, surprised to not have to sign anything and the door was initially locked until we rang the bell outside. Room small but reasonably comfortable. Worst was the bathroom which looked like it had been designed by an idiot. The shower had no screen on one side so it couldn't be used without soaking the sink area and the floor. Breakfast was okay, fairly minimal again. I wouldn't probably stay again unless it was cheap, it was very handy for the station.

This is a basic hotel. No frills or extras. Good location across the street from the train station, but do not expect anything else. Staff was friendly.

WiFi is extremely bad, difficult to connect and very unstable.For the first night I took a shower and found they forgot to put any towels in my room...The weather was very hot during my stay and they turned off the air conditioner of my room completely when I was out. The weak air conditioner took half an hour or so to re-cool the room.Out of the window there is a big air conditioner or ventilation system, generating noise even during night.Breakfast is bad too, with very little choice. The fruits were clearly not fresh.

This was my third visit to the Best Western Hotel Terminus in the past five years. The best things about the hotel are: the friendly, helpful staff; the close proximity to the Grenoble railway station (about 300 yards away, and well within sight from the station); and the free wireless internet. They offer a breakfast buffet for about 11 Euros, and that is a good value compared to my experiences at other European hotels. Also, the hotel is within easy walking distance to numerous shops, restaurants, and city public transportation. On the downside, the hotel's rooms are comfortable but in need of update, and they are small by American standards.

For us as train travellers, this hotel was perfect. The hotel was directly outside the train station. The staff were friendly. The hotel was nice but had some oddities. You had to go up steps to get to the elevator, the floor on each floor was not even/flat. The rooms were large and comfy. The bed felt like sleeping in grandmas house, large, warm and comfy. Great hotel to explore the city.

We had a room at the front which overlooked a square with the train , tram and bus station opposite and a great view of the mountains beyond. Nice clean hotel, probably recently refurbished, quite stylish.Reception a bit slow in producing coffee and extra pillows-found it was quicker to get a coffee from the machine in the station( and cheaper too!) Otherwise no worries, would happily use it again.
