    This hotel is very close to the MTR and is very clean and spacious. Staff are very nice and accomodating. Will stay here again when back in Hong Kong

    We have always stayed here whenever we are in HK these past 8 years or so! So, really its all good! Coming back for 5 or 6 nights in Nov!

    Great location. Almost everything else was a disappointment. The Cityview is brilliantly located—next to the MTR, right on the red line, and surrounded by a lively neighborhood. Unfortunately, the hospitality seems to have missed the train. The room comes with those depressing 2-in-1/3-in-1 instant coffee sachets. Nothing says “welcome to Hong Kong” quite like a ten-cent Nescafé. Breakfast was the real masterpiece. I asked for some salad and cold cuts, waited 45 minutes, asked four staff members, and… absolutely nothing happened. Apparently, finding the chef was a bigger challenge than finding a decent hotel. The manager eventually apologized and offered me one hour of late checkout as compensation. Because, obviously, what I really needed after wasting 45 minutes of my morning was an additional hour in the same hotel. Location: 5/5. Hospitality: 0/5. Would I stay again? Absolutely not.
