We stayed in a sea view room at Beachfront at Bicheno and were very happy with it. The room was comfortable, well laid out, and the sea view was genuinely lovely — perfect for relaxing and unwinding after a day of driving along the coast. The location is excellent, right by the water and close to town, making it easy to get around on foot.
It’s not over the top or flashy, but it delivers exactly what it promises: a comfortable stay in a great location with a view that’s worth paying for.

Staff at reception was very nice and helpful. Room was very clean and very comfortable, as was the bed. Loved my patio overlooking the sea. Location was fantastic as could walk to the Penguin Tour and to the Lobster Shack and just about anything else you would need in this very lovely, very welcoming town.
