    You would think parking would be free, the price we paid for the room. additional $55.00 each day. location was great. staff very good.

    There is a reason the Chateau is the most photographed hotel in the world. This gleaming facade, however, hides a harsh truth; that the ameneties and service of the Chateau are lacking. On our arrival, we had to haul our five large luggage bags to the lobby on our own. While I understand that it was 4 PM and there was a check-in rush, this should be no excuse for at least offering aid. This lack of aid with our luggage persisted until we reached our room. When we reached our room, we were distraught to find out hotel construction blocked our view, we were not warned of this possibility ajd had inquired if it would be possible to change rooms. They attempted to grant our request but were ultimately unable to, their reparation was a singular breakfast coupon for our group. Their lack of service also extended to room cleaning. Our room remained unkempt until we managed to find a member of the housekeeping staff and personally request our room be cleaned. When we returned later, we found our beds had been cleaned but the trashcan had not been thrown out. We had also ordered room service late at night and while the food had arrived promptly, when we left the food cart outside it was not removed until we called the front desk, this had occured after we requested the housekeeping member to clean up the room. To summarize, the hotel's location and aesthetics are top-notch. This helps cover the lackluster service of the staff, which is disappointing for the price you'll be paying for the rooms.

    We traveled to Quebec, and stayed in the hotel for one night. The hotel is unbelievably beautiful, with excellent location and unforgettable river sightseeing. The shopping center is in a walkable neighborhood, with nice views, especially for the night sightseeing. It is real a “‘most-photographed hotel in the world”. I think 2-3 night stay will be the best option, as one night schedule is too tight, and you will miss a lots. Value park is also the best option for travelers, considering the narrow road condition and self-parking cost.

    this was a fairy tale hotel, but the room is absolutely tiny. and the hotel, while pretty, is old.
