Love the opulent charm of this hotel. Very comfortable room with marble bathroom and room service served on a deco wooden trolley with silver cloches over the food removed with a flourish. Will stay again:

Our stay to The Windsor Hotel was excellent. Very good location, staff and few minutes to cbd as tram transport was excellent every minute or 2 minute there's a tram at Bourke st. Excellent. We like the character around the hotel and High Tea was excellent foods with excellent price and Senior price discount.

We loved the charm of Hotel Windsor

Alot of maintenance needed here...would have been a top place in 1985 after restorations....due for another one. In my room - toilet cistern was running, shower/bath drain blocked slow to drain, hot water takes a while to come through and I saw a mouse run across the room. Shifted rooms because of mice. Just not a good experience. Breakfast 6 out of 10. Won't be going back at all.
