    It was our first time to stay near Centraal Station, which was quite convenient for going around. The hotel was comfortable, clean, and had a great bar, Super Lyan! The staff were super helpful and a delight to deal with, especially Virginia at Celia.

    We had an awesome trip in Amsterdam, but this hotel made our stay perfect. Super helpful and lovely staff. Convenient although it lacks some amenities like sauna/ pool.

    The Kimpton was a very nice hotel in a great location. They were very generous with included coffee pods and bottled water (when requested). The breakfast buffet was great- with eggs made to order and a variety of buffet items. Rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The only issue we had was with the air conditioning, which did not cool the air. After promising to fix it two days in a row, they did move us to a new room where it worked better. Other than the interactions with regards to the air conditioning, the staff was exceptionally kind and helpful.

    In the third morning of our stay, there was a sudden loss of electricity in our room while my friend and I were brushing our teeth and charging our portable power banks. After promptly calling for assistance, there was no immediate response for over 20 minutes. My friend went down to the front desk to seek help, causing a delay to catch our train to Rotterdam. No sincere apology was offered for the inconvenience caused on the day when the power outage happened. Instead, we were handed two small pieces of stroopwafels as compensation when we checked out. We expected more from a IHG hotel.
