I didn’t realise it was a privately owner apartment when booking, but I was pleasantly surprised. The apartment was well presented, lovely and clean, cooking facilities provided, sofa bed was comfortable, coffee machine was a nice perk, the balcony was nice and bathroom was relatively new and clean which was a big positive for my wife.
The apartment building itself is a bit tired, the lifts are old and the exterior of the building requires some repairs and re-paint but unless you are specifically looking for 5* luxury accommodation with all the trimmings then this really doesn’t affect your stay. Also we went out of season so the all the pools and slides weren’t open but we went to the beach every day so not an issue really.
