Do yourself a favour and stay away from this hotel. The only good thing about it is the staff at the breakfast, the rest is absolute stupidity. No help from the staff, no housekeeping unless asked and even then not entertained. The whole floor was stinking of cigarettes.

The pictures shown on the site are completely different then the room they offered. Had a single and double room booked, both rooms were dingy and lot of TLC needed. The worst rooms we have ever stayed in anywhere in the UK. The bathroom was untidy and rusty. Broken shower. Shelves were broken. You don't get the value anywhere near what was paid for. Location wise ok, but again some of the pictures showed that it's right in front of the beach, which it wasn't. I gave 5 star for the staff because some of the staff members at the breakfast were excellent and very welcoming. They welcomed every one and had a good vibe and positive attitude. The facilities were non existent though. We stayed 3 nights and had to ask for extra set of towels and other bathroom amenities every single day. Only the second night I actually had to stay downstairs to collect only the towels myself, after pestering them for 2 days. I still didn't get the other amenities during the 3 nights, only at the beginning. The housekeeping didn't come to clean the room in our 3 days of stay. The staff was asked, if the amenities could be left outside the room or received later at night. I was told that i have to stay downstairs to collect it because the staff wouldn't come upstairs. I was told that there is no staff and that he is the only person available at time. The management is absolutely incompetent. Enjoyed the time as cornwall is lovely but What a waste of money and a depressing place to come to after good day out. Stay away
