This hotel has been here for many years but has obviously been upgraded and continues to be so. Some rooms were undergoing renovations whilst we were here but it didn’t disturb our stay. The staff are amazingly knowledgeable, friendly and efficient, many of whom are students at nearby university. Not the cheapest in Falmouth but a stylish hotel that seems to attract a wide variety of age groups from young families to trendy students or even grandparents like us. Pool was warm and professional. School holiday while we were here and a family of young boys who father was not taking any notice were soon asked to quieten down by staff. Food was lovely and the views are incredible. Room was comfortable but a little on the small side, very quiet.

Staff is amazing, (Oli in the bar and Fred at breakfast). Lots of little touches on top of a superb location overlooking the sea. Tremendous value for money and one of the warmest and welcoming places we have ever stayed. Food is sublime too.

Me and my friends drove 5 hours to stay at this hotel and on arrival the room shown online was not the same as what we got. We got a loft room, no wifi connection, spa facilities that were shown online were got members only so in all for £245 im disappointed with the whole experience and we were no allowed a refund and no room change due to availability we were told. It was a waste if 5 hours drive there and back.

Booked & paid for a king with sundeck. Got a twin with a yard & high fence. The room was basic, dirty, with black mold, peeling paint, stained lino floor covering, no aircon, no fridge, bathroom extractor fan did not work & no window to open. Complained at reception & was told this was counted as a king with sundeck. They said they were full & could not move us to a similar category room, nor the room category below. They refused to move us to a higher room category. Had to try to sleep with the door open listening to a noisy pump/engine right outside. At around *** a night we felt ripped off.
