    Very first impression as we arrived was breathtaking, the arounds and the manor house was breathtaking. We arrived too early to check because we were told we could leave our bags and could get a drink of something to eat from Harry's. The receptionist said she would let us know when the room was ready but never did! We went back at about 4pm to pick up our bags and check in. The room was nice, nothing overly special about it. Had a fridge, tv, iron and ironing board, hairdryer, safe and toiletries. Tidy and clean with a small tower fan. The tower fan was absolutely pathetic and even on full fan speed, you could only feel air if your hand was about an inch or 2 away from it. We were right in the middle of a heat wave (May half term break) and the room was stifling. Had a terrible night's sleep because it was so hot and the fan so ineffective. The window was open, although with the heat wave made no difference to the temperature. Although, by having the window open meant we were brutally worken up by an electric, sit in lawnmower buzzing backward and forwards right outside our window, which was not very welcomed after struggling to sleep. We had a lovely meal in the evening, the food was excellent! Watch out for the 10% service charge they add to your bill, if you rather tip your own amount. The outdoor area is a lovely place to have a drink or two. As it was so hot, the sauna and steam room did not appeal to us. Everywhere we went outside, in the corridors or our room, felt like a sauna! We will return and make use of the facilities next time. The breakfast was really good. They had a seperate area with gluten free items, which I though was good, so no cross contamination risk. The hot food was excellent, the choices were sausages (pork and veggie ones) grilled tomatoes, real mushrooms (not tinned) hash browns, bacon, eggs - boiled, scrambled and fried and beans. There were lots of cereals to choose from with semi skimmed milk, oat milk and soya milk. Other items available were yoghurts (fresh natural and greek or pots) coulis, pastries, jams, Nutella etc, fruit salad, pieces of fruit. Very good selection and very tasty!

    Huge hitel, with spa and gym facilities It has also a nice restaurant with variety of plates. surroundings are beautiful

    Arrived at the hotel really looking forward to it to spend Christmas with my family who live in Buckingham only to 5 months. when I got in the room it smelled awful. Weeis all over the floor in the toilet then I went out sat on the bed and it was soaking wet yes I mean soaking wet duvet sheets, mattress soaking wet would I recommend this hotel NO. ? breakfast? TERRIBLE Shocking the next time I stay with my family Buckingham who just moved here six months ago, I will stay at the Premier Inn.
