    The property is so dreamy. I felt so welcomed during my stay - the staff rate 10/10, the breakfast was one of the best selections I’ve seen and as for the design…. Well I could write an essay describing the excitement and inspiration that it gave me. Staying in one of the vintage train cars is a MUST! Coming from a person who works as an interior designer, being wrapped in *** + his Team’s design was very exciting for me. Thank you for this wonderful experience!

    It was our first time visiting the Intercontinental Khao Yai Resort by IHG with the kids, and let me tell you, it was quite the adventure. Despite the chaotic immigration and the long wait for our drive, the journey was absolutely worth it. We had booked two heritage railway suites, and let me just say, they were jaw-droppingly amazing. The staff was not only friendly and courteous but also incredibly professional and English-friendly. The swimming pool, nestled in the jungle mountains, was simply breathtaking and serene. The bar and snacks were beyond impressive, going above and beyond the usual menu offerings. And don't even get me started on the multi-course French fine dining experience at Poirot. This restaurant, housed in a converted first-class carriage inspired by Agatha Christie's Hercule Poirot, is a true gem. Recognized in the MICHELIN Guide Thailand for its classic culinary execution and old-world elegance, dining here is a must-visit experience. Yes, it may be expensive, but trust me, every penny is worth it! ❤️

    Rooms are train cabins. Took the bigger room and place was huge. Understandingly there were insects because we were near nature. Several interesting activities, such as a treasure hunt and cycling alongside the lake.

    Loved the train theme and hotel surrounding. Especially enjoyed the bike ride around the lake and kids enjoyed feeding the swans. Could have more food options. Children were not allowed in one of the restaurants so as a family we only had one option for food. The tea carriage only opened for a few hours a day. Bathrooms were a bit small.
