Had a relaxing time at the Hotel & the buffet breakfast had a great selection of food. Had a car so could drive to the National Park & Go Kart track. Not far to drive to places for dinner.

The photos do not reflect reality. The actual room is old and very rundown, and the breakfast ingredients are of poor quality.

Stayed there for 2 nights. I saw other reviews and thought this would be good and expected a higher level of attention to detail for the price - it seems the reviews are mixed and there may be good days and bad days. (I also accept that my opinions are totally subjective). Our welcome and greeting was by a woman who made me feel very uncomfortable - it was like she didn’t want me to go into the reception area. She awkwardly said “passport” to me and rushed inside to the reception area and told me and my friend to wait outside the entrance of the building. She then came back out and handed me my passport and a piece of paper and said “sign!” I tried to sign it there but there was nothing to put the paper on. When I said I will go to the reception desk she reluctantly let me. She then rushed to grab one of our carry-on luggage bags and rushed off into the resort - honestly it was hard to keep up with her. It was 4 flights of steps up to our room (as there is no lift). Once we were in the room, it was clean and basic, no in-room safe and had a kettle but no coffee, tea, sugar or milk/creamer - not worth the amount we paid for it. (To be fair, this was one of the cheapest hotels I could find). So after settling in it was time to have a shower and we ran the water for maybe 5-10 minutes to see if it was going to get hot, but no it was cold (we should have rung to see if there was a problem but assumed that maybe it didn’t. In the morning at breakfast we asked one of the staff if the rooms were meant to have hot water and they were. Again, to be fair, they had it fixed within about 10 minutes. The breakfast was included and it was ok. The pool area was good but but we would have liked a bit more space around the pool - it just felt a little bit cramped and close to everything. We returned after our days exploring at about 6:00pm and upon opening our door, discovered the room had not been made up. My friend rang reception and then we waited around half an hour for it to be completed. Good news, there was hot water in the shower. The bed was comfortable. When we woke up in the morning we thought it was a bit quiet and the aircon was on but not working. We rang reception again and the power had gone off in the whole resort (not an uncommon problem so we weren’t worried). When we went to have our shower, the water was cold again and again we rang and the came to fix it within about 10 minutes. I had mixed feelings about writing this review and I did it reluctantly because this is someone’s livelihood, but, I think for the price I paid, showers should work and staff should make you feel welcome and comfortable.
