    My stay at Montana Hotel and Residence was a mixed experience. The staff was consistently friendly and helpful, and I especially appreciated how accommodating the front desk agent was when I requested a room change. Unfortunately, cleanliness was a significant concern in my first room, which had considerable dust in the vents, some mold, and small to medium-sized cockroaches. The second room was much better, with no further roach sightings, but deep-cleaning and pest control are clearly needed. On the positive side, the rooms have a convenient kitchenette and washing machine, the beds are soft and comfortable, and two bottles of drinking water are provided daily. Housekeeping is available upon request, and a 7-Eleven is about a 10-minute walk away. The hotel is also right beside a busy, noisy road, which may be challenging for those sensitive to sound. Earplugs are available at the front desk, which is a thoughtful touch. Overall, I appreciated the staff and practical amenities, but the cleanliness issues affected my experience. I see potential in this property, provided greater attention is given to room hygiene and maintenance.
