    We stayed for 4 nights. Overall a comfortable stay. Walk about 3 min to a convenience store. There are a lot of roads leading out to different direction and places. It's not sitting right in the central but we took cab most of the time.

    We stayed 5 days at On Tapae,. The hotel was modern and very clean. The room is clean, but a bit small to our liking. The staff was very nice, friendly, and helpful. They had a laundry service, which was very handy. The breakfast was good, I loved their scrambled eggs. It had a small variety, but it was sufficient; it had fruit and salad. We enjoyed. We could get free water all day which was a big plus and there were snacks for free in the lobby. Also they had big umbrellas which we could borrow. The pool was a bit small. The location very good, it was easy to walk to the Tapae gate and also it had parkingspace, so friends could meet us .Overall we were quite happy and most likely would use it again if we want to stay in the center of Chiang Mai.

    Stayed at On Thapae Gate for 10 days. The best thing about this property has to be the staff! Always friendly, always helpful, and a blast for SongKron. The morning breakfast is small but adequate, and they do a good job alternating the local offerings for variety. There is also a standard western staple of two types of eggs, sausage and ham, breads, juice, etc. There is free water and coffee/tea all day. The rooms are small but clean and plenty of hot water and pressure. Pool is small, but plenty for just relaxing when it's really hot. The location is convenient to the party areas. The one recommendation I would make is find a way to add some drawers to your rooms, there is no place to put socks/undergarments and other smaller items.

    Room has almost no noise isolation. My room was at the end of the corridor far away from the lift and on the 4th floor but you could hear doors slamming , lift button sound and people talk even floors down . So if you wish to sleep up till 10 am it will be impossible since people wake up early for activities an room cleaning stats early (although until 8 am it is stayed quite hour ) The small refrigerator also makes sounds , so if you need to keep it on over night you need to have pretty good airplugs . The water refill system has a strange mouldy taste , so buy new bottle water The breakfast is ok The room was fine . The bathroom was not very clean , hair and residues left behind The staff was sweet and kind though Good location, walking distance from key areas Perhaps the quality is reflected in the price
