Amazing little hotel in the middle of thongsala, peaceful pretty and conveniently located to explore island whilst having plenty to do on your doorstep. Great value with lovely staff and some nice little touches like a fridge full of drinks at supermarket prices. Probably not ideal to stay if you want a beach holiday unless.you have transport but everything is close by and it's good value. Would stay again

I spent 5 nights in a Double, Room Deluxe in April 2026, and overall, found it very enjoyable given the price, and proximity to the downtown area. Good points. Staff were very nice, and agreeable when I asked for a room change upon arrival, thus removing me a little further away from the pool area. Cleanliness was acceptable, please see pics attached. Plenty of space, a nice room. Value for Money! Not so good points. Whilst proximity to the downtown area was OK, it was still a bit of a walk. This for me was not really an issue, but if you have mobility issues check carefully before you book. The bathroom was basic, with the odd accessory missing, Shangri-La this is not, but then I wasn't paying premium prices, so as in life. you want better, you pay more... Overall, happy to recommend. As always, happy and safe travelling. Phil Note: Whilst there I completed the London Virtual Marathon, which only took just short of 11 hours in the blazing heat to cover the 42 plus km's. I probably won't be attempting that again. :-)

Super friendly and helpful manager and staff. Fast responsive on whatsapp. Facilities were nice and with all amenities one might wish. Only downsides were the noise early on Sunday morning and not super clean kitchenette.

Very bizarre place. No reception when I arrived at 13 to check in. Seems there is only two workers. The bed is not so comfortable. No gate or something so the place is wide open. Dogs bark during night so i woke up a lot. Very basic place. Doesn't worth the money
