    We had an excellent stay at The Beach Samui with our kids - one of the nicest hotels we’ve ever stayed in. Location - peaceful and calm south side of the island, much less touristy than the north. Beautiful view from the hotel onto the other islands. We travelled to the north after our stay here and much preferred being here to the touristy parts. Accommodation - we stayed in the villa with our 3 children. Well appointed kitchen which we used a few times, big clean rooms and bathrooms with AC. Cleaned daily by lovely staff. Highlight was the pool from which you can go straight to the beach - you cannot swim due to the boats but the white sand, views ancross the islands and chilled atmosphere more than made up for this. Food and drink - tasty breakfast (in particular the smoothie bowl), bar snacks and cocktails (and mocktails!). The highlight - as others have already said was the service. Such lovely staff, kind, patient, nothing was too much trouble, helping to entertain kids during mealtimes, helpful suggestions about things to do and what to avoid. They really made the trip extra special for us and our 3 days here is probably the highlight of our 2 weeks in Thailand!

    this is a fantastic hotel in a beautiful, quiet part of the island - which clearly has it's benefits - so know that you'll need to commit to a 45min commute to get to much of the tourist hotspots, so a car is essential. If you've accounted for that, then Brian and team have created a magical little place in the south west corner of the island
