    This place feels more like a motel than a full-service hotel. Like many visitors, we stopped in Kanchanaburi as part of a trip to see the Bridge. The property is about a 15-minute drive from the train station, and it’s in a fairly quiet area—so be prepared to use Bolt or taxis if you want to get around. The grounds are lush and green, creating a peaceful atmosphere, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The rooms were basic but adequate. However, the beds were unusually firm, and there was no safe—either in the room or at reception. Each room does have a TV and a fridge, but not much else in the way of amenities. In the reception area, there’s a self-serve station with free tea and coffee, plus some complimentary snacks. They also sell instant noodles and crisps. These tea and coffee facilities double as breakfast, so don’t expect a hot meal or buffet in the morning. If you walk to the main road and turn left, in about 50 meters you’ll find a small Thai café/restaurant. We had lunch there and could see the food being freshly prepared—it was delicious. The family who runs it were warm and welcoming. I'd easily give them a 10/10! The hotel staff were kind and eager to help, although English is limited—which is perfectly understandable and results in a fun session of sign language. Overall, this is a solid budget-friendly option. That said, next time I’d likely spend a bit more to stay closer to the town Centre, near the station, bars, and restaurants. But if you're traveling on a tighter budget and don’t mind the location, this place is a decent choice.
