I stayed here with my family 7 years ago, just before COVID, and then I remember the rooms being nicer, cleaner and in much better condition. Although this place has its merits - the location isn't bad - it is quiet and peacefully situated - it is however, a 10 minute walk from the beach front, if you wanted easy access to beach road and the seafront there are better options. The pool is ok, small and no frills, but clean. The room we had felt old and tired - the fridge didn't really work, the shower was feeble and the door frame was practically falling apart. It was at least clean and comfortable enough. The price is the best part of the Lomsabai experience. It was very affordable - and for one night, that was what we cared about, as we spent precious little time in it, anyway. The staff were helpful and polite, if a little incompetent. 3pm check in was a little late in my view, also - worth keeping in mind. Overall, this works for a short stay if you aren't expecting or requiring too much in the way of service or luxury and want to travel on a budget. IMO - there are definitely better options that are worth spending a bit more for. 2nd stay - won't be returning.

went for the grand prix weekend. I had to wait around for someone to show up for check in because the kid sitting at the desk just played a game on his phone but didn't seem to actually work there. The bed was really hard. had to ask for waters every day since the room never got serviced for the 4 days I was there. Also only had 1 hanger in the wardrobe so I just snagged a couple from another room since they just leave all the doors open.
