    Guesthouse seems empty but owner whom we only met by chat said it's all full and people don't come outside of their rooms. We tried to checkin early but owner lied that there is someone in the room but no one was there and we waited 4 hours on sofa. Breakfast was good. House maid know no English but she was helpful.

    The breakfast is a very disappointing lacklustre affair. We were served an orange, rice porridge, a glass of orange juice and a glass of water. We had access to self serve tea and coffee. 1 out of 5 for effort and value right there.

    We had a really good stay here. We booked for 13 nights and had no regrets at all. The room was spacious enough, it was well equipped with a TV, storage, a good shower and super comfy bed. It's nice and quiet here, which is important to us. There is hot water, tea and coffee available downstairs all day. The staff are excellent, they'll make your room any time you hang the sign on the door. Really friendly team. Would recommend and stay again.

    This stay turned out to be the most frustrating part of our trip to Thailand. In terms of hardware facilities, the WiFi failed to connect and was completely unusable. A mirror faced the bed directly, and the sound insulation was extremely poor—we could hear the sound of flushing toilets from the floor above clearly. There were dead insect bodies under the bed, various unknown bugs flying around the room, and large spider webs on the ceiling, making the hygiene condition extremely bad. The room was stuffy, damp, and dimly lit, with a sticky feeling lingering in the air. Yet the air conditioner blew directly onto the bed, which would make us freeze if turned on. Opening the floor-to-ceiling windows for ventilation would let in mosquitoes and insects, and outside the windows were damaged and moldy wooden planks. The bathroom had no ventilation system at all, and the owner even banned window opening on the pretext of "keeping bugs out", completely cutting off any way to let fresh air in. What made us even angrier than the hardware issues was the owner’s differential treatment and unwarranted harassment. We greeted her with a smile voluntarily for the first two days, but she ignored us completely, only to turn around and chat warmly with white customers—her racist attitude was fully exposed. On top of that, she falsely accused us of smoking in the room, deliberately making trouble for us and casting a disgusting shadow over our long-awaited trip.
