    So we arrived after a long 12 hour bus ride from Pattaya at about 6 am. We called ahead to inquire about an early check in. Were told we could check in at 12 pm earliest. When we ask at front desk, we were told 2 pm. We explained someone told us on the phone 12. She finally said yes you can check in at 12. I explained we came here last minute due to my girlfriends dad was not doing well with his cancer, we were tired and just wanted to check in our room asap. We were then told we could check in at 9 if we paid a fee equivalent to one days rental price, which I said was ridiculous. I was told our room was in fact free. But they would not make any acceptions due to our situation. We were forced to wait, tired and cold for our room in the lobby. They could have made an accepting but didn't and made us wait. When we finally get into the room, the first thing I wanted to do was to take a hot shower as Udon was very cold this time of year and the temp was only about 15 degrees. But to my surprise no hot water was coming from the shower. So I went to the front desk and inquired. I was told the standard rooms only had warm water, which was a big stretch, and that o my thr suites has hot water. I have never seen this in all my travels. I also asked for a bar of soap as all they gave was body wash with no scrunch to wash with. I was told they would check and never heard back, so I had to go buy my own soap at a 7-11. On the positives, the cleaning staff was very good and most of the front desk was also very nice and helpful. But not allowing us to check into our room a few measly hours early when our room was available and in our situation is why I wouldn't recommend this hotel.or stay again. Wouldn't have cost them anything to have a heart and let us check in to an empty room a few hours early. So renter be ware. Cheap hotel and you get what you pay for.
