    Our stay at Blue Rama was disappointing overall. While the location has a nice view and is in a decent area, the hotel felt overpriced for what was offered. The staff were not very accommodating or helpful during our stay. One major issue was that the restaurant only serves vegan food, which was not clearly mentioned beforehand. This should be made clear to guests before booking. The cleanliness standards also need improvement, as housekeeping was lacking and hygiene did not feel up to standard. Basic toiletries such as soap bar were not properly provided. Another problem was the noise and environment around the rooms. There were bird nests nearby, and loud bird sounds during the night made it difficult to sleep. There were also stray dogs around the property, which made walking around at night feel unsafe. Additionally, this is not an ideal place for guests visiting for events like the Full Moon Party, as it is not very convenient or guest-friendly for that purpose. Overall, the hotel has potential because of its location, but management needs to improve service, cleanliness, transparency, and guest comfort.

    Well we booked this hotel only for a day at the end of our 12 days Thailand trip just to enjoy this pool and the view it offers and undoubtedly it was one of the highlights of our trip. The hotel is located in one of the most scenic location of Koh Phangan and the view from the pool side is to die for. We booked a sea view double room with balcony which was really nice. The aesthetics of the room very bohemian which is my favourite. Though we booked a sea view room but the sea was partially visible as it was surrounded by forest and shrubs but that was fine with us as they have a very relaxing hammock in the balcony so you can simply relax on the hammock and just gaze at the stars. Now coming to few negative points (for which I have rated this hotel as 4 and not 5) 1. First of all the hotel is located on a very steep mountain top so it was pretty scary to climb up and down on a Scooty because if you are not careful enough your Scooty will skid off. So one has to be very cautious especially during the night time as there is no light on the road. 2. Their restaurant offer a complete vegan menu. So if you are a non-vegetarian then you have to arrange your food elsewhere. 3. Lastly since the hotel is located in a kind of isolated area so for pier transfer you will need to arrange your vehicle well in time. We made a mistake by trusting hotel staff as the day when we checked in we asked the staff that how can we get a tuk tuk to pier for next day and they assured us that we just need to inform them 10 minutes before we leave for the pier and they will arrange it but on the day of check-out we informed them 20 minutes prior buteven after waiting for 30 minutes the tuk tuk didn’t come. We were really stressed as our ferry to Surat Thani was at 11:30am and we had only 30 mins to reach. The staff looked very disinterested and had a lackadaisical attitude. He asked us to wait for another 10 mins for the tuk tuk which was not possible for us.

    It’s is really high and difficult to reach and feels very remote, but the room is not so bad. We ended up booking another hotel that night 😅 just difficult to get in and out of the property and taxi is super expensive since going to the place is difficult for them.
