    I recently stayed at the River Kwai Bridge Resort, and unfortunately, it was a highly disappointing experience. The hotel is in desperate need of a major renovation and a serious upgrade to its housekeeping standards. Here were the main issues during my stay: The Room & Air Conditioning: The room felt incredibly stuffy. The air conditioning unit's temperature adjustment was completely broken, making it impossible to get the room to a comfortable temperature. Bedding & Comfort: The mattress was rock-hard, and the linens did not look or feel clean enough to sleep on comfortably. No Windows or View: There are no actual windows in the room—just a glass sliding door, which meant zero outside view and very poor ventilation. Hygiene Issues: The room had a distinct, musty smell that was far from fresh. To make matters worse, I found a cockroach in the room during my stay. Bathroom: The shower water pressure was very weak, making it difficult to even take a decent shower. Overall, the property feels neglected. I cannot recommend staying here in its current state until management invests in a proper renovation, fixes their maintenance issues, and drastically improves their cleaning standards.
