Excellent rooms… we stayed twice because it was so good. Large rooms with family options. Beautiful tropical gardens with lots of seating areas. Well maintained pool. Hearty breakfast. Excellent service. Recommend and will go back.

We had a wonderful stay at Happy Mind Resort in Sam Roi Yot, just south of Hua Hin. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the people. The owner and the entire staff made us feel genuinely welcome from the moment we arrived. Their kindness, hospitality and attention to detail created a warm, home-like atmosphere that is difficult to find. The resort is surrounded by lush greenery, making it the perfect place to disconnect and relax. We loved the peaceful setting and the way the owner has thoughtfully created an environment that blends beautifully with nature. Despite feeling secluded, the beach is only a short walk away, making it easy to enjoy both the sea and the tranquillity of the resort. The location is also excellent for exploring the area. The spectacular Phraya Nakhon Cave is only about 15 minutes away and is an absolute must-visit. On weekends, there are fantastic local food markets nearby where you can enjoy authentic Thai cuisine and soak up the local atmosphere. Another pleasant surprise was the Wi-Fi, which was fast and reliable throughout our stay—great if you need to work remotely or simply stay connected. If we had one suggestion for improvement, it would be the breakfast. It was good, but offering a wider variety of options would make the experience even better. Overall, this is a hidden gem for anyone looking for peace, nature, genuine hospitality and an authentic experience in Sam Roi Yot. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it.

A Beautiful Nature Retreat with Wonderful Staff Happy Mind Resort is a beautiful hidden gem surrounded by nature, just a short walk from a peaceful beach. The relaxing atmosphere makes it an ideal place to unwind and enjoy the natural beauty of Sam Roi Yot. The staff are welcoming, kind, and exceptionally helpful. Dream and Nan went above and beyond during our stay. When we mentioned that our room lacked an electric kettle, they promptly provided one for the rest of our visit. Their attentiveness and genuine hospitality made us feel truly cared for. One highlight was the resort’s adorable cat, Kor Dang (“Red Collar”), who kept us entertained while we relaxed on our lanai and added extra charm to the experience. The resort also offers complimentary bicycles for exploring the area. For longer rides, motorbikes can be rented nearby for less than 300 THB per day. This resort brought us peace, relaxation, and joy. I would gladly stay here again and highly recommend Happy Mind Resort to anyone visiting Sam Roi Yot.
