    Being a creature of habit, I tend to stay in the same place, once I discovered Amara, it became our go to in Hua Hin. My partner and I 1st stayed here last year for a friend's wedding. The room, furnishings, and location were 1st class, as were the staff. I highly recommend.

    Avoid this hotel – Extremely disappointing experience Our stay at Amara Resort in Hua Hin was terrible, and I strongly recommend looking elsewhere for your holiday. Service & Staff: Unprofessional and unwelcoming overall. The only exception was one lovely woman working in the morning. Breakfast: At 400 THB, it was a total waste of money. The selection was almost nonexistent—just two eggs, leftover crusts of bread (when we asked for more, they only offered us the end pieces), and coffee that tasted like it was made a week ago. Pet Policy & Safety: We paid 300 THB per day for our small 3 kg dog, but there are zero pet facilities. To make matters worse, the owner’s two large dogs run around unleashed everywhere, scaring guest pets. Standard hotel policy requires dogs to be on a leash, but they do not enforce this for their own pets. Room & Noise: We were forced to take a standard room because we had a pet. The room equipment was very poor, and because the hotel is located directly behind noisy bars and discotheques, it was impossible to sleep. Save your money and book somewhere else. This hotel is below minus five stars.
