Besides a very clean, spacious room with a wall to wall ocean view and balcony, this staff is what was most exceptional about our stay. From Joy at the front desk greeting us with drinks, preparing a day bag with towels and waters for our excursion without being asked, to Andy checking in on us to make sure we are taken care of, to Phon and Jason at the restaurant (which has excellent food and great prices) serving us, we felt like honored guests. The complementary breakfast was wonderful - loved our made to order omelets, the croissants, coffee, fresh juices, and fruit platter. We also ate our dinners overlooking the beach and ocean at sunset. Limited menu, but great food. The facilities were clean and everything was in good working order. The beach was very private with comfortable loungers. Be aware swimming is a bit limited due to the shallow waters and some rough coral in the sand under the water, but they provide water shoes which take care of that issue. We came in June and it was still very quiet on this side of the island even being next to the large Intercontinental Hotel. By the way, on Sunday night they had a cool fire show right on the beach which we took in free of charge just sitting on the beach. We would definitely recommend if you are looking for a quaint quiet resort, directly on the beach with amazing staff and good affordable food.

L'hôtel a une belle décoration mais le manque de personnel lui donne un aspect abandonné. Le petit déjeuner est très médiocre, le choix est réduit et la nourriture très passable. Le personnel parle en Thaï et rigole devant nous, on se pose des questions sur leurs conversations. Le spa est à l'abandon, on a pu l'utiliser mais le personnel n'étant pas disponible car très réduit, on s'est débrouillé par nous même. Le bassin entre le sauna et le hammam a une eau croupie où les herbes ont commencé à pousser. La piscine est grande et très agréable. Le pire est la plage, celle-ci à marrée basse n'est que vase et algues. Les eaux usées y sont rejetées et parfois l'odeur est nauséabonde.
