    We booked this place in the middle of the week, so we had the whole place to ourselves. Enjoyed the beautiful salt water pool (no chemicals), cool AC, loaner bicycles, delicious breakfast (not a huge assortment, but more than enough for a good breakfast), located close to the Saturday night market. The staff was most attentive and provided for all our needs and requests. The only CON was the hard mattress.

    Quiet area but 200yards from the beach. Brilliant staff very attentive. Breakfast is a good start to the day small pool but that's not a problem. You would need a car or bike to get around but we loved the area. Thank you Baan Jeen.

    We were so confused by all the good reviews. Apart from the very lovely man working as the receptionist/host, this place has almost nothing going for it. The pool is nice and clean, and it’s next to the seafront, like many of the other options along the beach road. Unfortunately, the breakfast was below standard, and the rooms were too. They felt very old and disheveled. It’s a shame because with a bit of renovation and more care put into the breakfast offering, the amazing host, cute exterior, and great location could easily make this a 5/5 place. The lovely host was genuinely the highlight of the stay. Unfortunately, I also found a tiny roach in my bed, and my brother’s downstairs room smelled quite musty. That said, I do want to emphasise that the host clearly worked very hard to keep the place clean, the rooms themselves did appear very clean overall- the hotel is in desperate need of renovation.
