The staff definitely make this place special. All were exceptional. The bungalow was special and the aircon worked like magic. The pool is awesome. And they take dogs! All in all this is how good hotels should be. I have stayed at branded hotels who could learn a lot from here. Well done, will be back!

Good place for a day room waiting to go to the airport, good facilities including bar and restaurant on site.

1st of all. ***, the lady on reception was very helpful, however, I feel like I am looking at reviews for another place! I will stay in any type of accommodation from hostel dormitory to a 5* hotel. As long as it is safe and clean. The hotel is up an alley opposite a recycling depot, with residential tin buildings next door. A dead end. No other property for at least 250 metres. Upon arrival I couldnt help but notice how tired this property looked. Faded signs, flaky paintwork, cracked concrete and tiles. A grumpy *** man showed me my property and gave me my key. Outside the door was a sand filled pot full of cig dimps. Opposite my door was a bin that was full and loads of other open bin bags full of rubbish and cig dimps which were still there the next day! Inside the property there was a bed, all frayed at the base, dirty looking curtains and blinds that didn't even match in colour. Tired furniture, a filthy fridge thats never seen a cloth or sponge. Then I walked into the bathroom...! Well... there were hairs stuck to the tiles in the shower area, greasy hand and fingerprints on every single surface. The frosted glass doors to the bathroom were so stained with drip marks and greasy hand prints and whatever else. The toilet had a leak around the base and the hose attachment was rank! You wouldn't touch any of it! The sink had yellow drip stains all underneath the bowl. The tile grout was slimey black. The plug hole was black with dirt and rusty. Honestly it made my skin crawl. The pool had a green tide mark on the tiles and they were cracked and tiles/grout missing around the step areas. I went to reception and told the lady I could not stay in that room. I was shown 2 others they were just as bad... I explained that as it was too late to check out and source another room I would stay in the best out of the 3 then I would like a refund for the other 2 nights. The lady took a couple of photos and agreed she would sort out my refund (which is proving to be a nightmare with Agoda!). She left me in the room and I cried... it was that bad. I do not ever cry, I am a solo traveller and cope very well in most situations. I didn't sleep well as it was filthy and I couldnt get it out of my head. I didn't use the shower before I left the next day, scared to catch something due to how unclean this place was. I reluctantly used the toilet and sink. All in all this has got to be the worse place I have ever stayed in. It was at the low end of the price scale but every other place i have ever stayed in have been clean!! The reviews do not add up! It is a hotel by a river choked with water hyacinth. It is fine for just a bed for the night near the airport. There are no eateries, shops or anything else of interest.
