    Tanote Bay is our favourite resort because of the excellent snorkelling. We booked Lub B Tanote for its location and it was a little pricey in August. We have teenagers so needed 2 twin rooms and it was £300 a night for our family. However, location is superb and life is short. Staff friendly and helpful, especially Olivia on the bar. Breakfast has good options and is freshly made. Our twin rooms were modern and clean. Pool nice but didn’t really need it. They need a few more chairs around the beach for hotel guests, and a couple of parasols for those not in the shade. Enjoyed it but out of our usual budget.

    remote small hotel, we stayed in bungalow among rain forest with butterflies and local squirrels, for other rooms you need to climb stairs , the hotel is remote so everything is expensive. small beach with corals available in shallow water, snorkels and staff could be rented . we had great time watching tropical fish and chilling

    The room itself is really nice and comfortable, but unfortunately I wouldn’t stay here again. My main issue is that I don’t think the pictures shown on the website accurately reflect what the hotel is actually like. The room is lovely, but the bungalow itself is right on the street, and the overall setting is not particularly pleasant. The structure and surroundings are quite different from what you might expect from the photos. There is also a bathtub on the terrace, which sounds like a great feature in theory, but in reality we never used it. There is no warm water, and the terrace is full of mosquitoes, so it’s basically unusable. The location, however, is excellent — probably one of the best parts of the island. Unfortunately, the rest of the property doesn’t live up to the location. The pool is not very nice and was often dirty, and we also found the food disappointing. Overall, while the room itself is nice and the location is fantastic, I don’t feel the hotel offers the experience portrayed in its pictures. For these reasons, I wouldn’t recommend staying here and would choose somewhere else next time.
