    Very nice property with amazing views , we took a suite with private pool, nice and clean and spacious. Must visit , staff is very good

    Stayed for 3 nights at Sandalwood Villa. The service staff were very nice and offered us a welcome drink. The villa is located high up a hill which can get rather steep for cars or scooters to climb up. The villa has a panoramic view of Chaweng Beach and the Gulf of Thailand. The room was very spacious and has additional loft space with another queen size bed at the top. The tv is equipped with an Amazon Firestick which is already preloaded with Netflix and PrimeTV. The air conditioner within the villa unit was quite strong and cooling. Did not order any food at the villa, so unable to comment on that. There doesn’t seem to be any other facilities within the villa apart from the small pool which is good enough for dipping. Recommended book your own GrabCar ride to the villa and also utilise their airport transfer service which is slightly cheaper than booking via GrabCar. Sandalwood Villa is suitable for travellers who value quietness and nice views over convenience. Otherwise, it would be better to stay at one of those beachside villas/ resorts where is it much easier for travel around the island.

    Access to the hotel was quite difficult due to the steep and slanted road, which made transportation a bit inconvenient. Room service was available, but the prices were quite expensive compared to expectations. Overall, the stay was acceptable, but the location and cost of services could be improved for a better guest experience.
