    We stayed at Exe Almada for two nights. The hotel has a central location with great connectivity to major tourist attractions. The hotel room was clean and comfortable. The staff was very helpful and polite. Definitely a 👍

    Ho soggiornato al hotel Dorma Almada Porto e, nel complesso, l’esperienza è stata positiva, soprattutto grazie alla posizione strategica. L’hotel si trova in Rua do Almada, nel cuore del centro storico di Porto (zona UNESCO), a pochi minuti a piedi da Praça da Liberdade, dalla stazione di São Bento, dal Mercado do Bolhão e da molte delle principali attrazioni. È davvero comodo per visitare la città camminando, senza dover ricorrere ai mezzi pubblici. Al momento del check-in ho chiesto espressamente una stanza silenziosa e tranquilla: il personale mi ha gentilmente assegnato una camera al 5° piano, che in effetti era più isolata rispetto ai piani inferiori. Le stanze sono moderne, pulite e ben attrezzate con tutti i comfort necessari: aria condizionata, Wi-Fi veloce, minibar, scrivania e arredamento funzionale. L’edificio storico ha una bella facciata tradizionale, mentre gli interni sono stati rinnovati con uno stile contemporaneo piacevole. Purtroppo ho riscontrato alcuni aspetti che possono essere migliorati: - Il materasso era eccessivamente morbido, tanto che ho dormito male la prima notte. - In bagno mancavano bidet e doccino. - La pulizia della stanza è stata insufficiente: durante tutto il soggiorno la camera non è stata rifatta. Solo dopo mia esplicita richiesta hanno cambiato gli asciugamani; non ho mai visto il servizio di housekeeping giornaliero. Anche se la stanza era al 5° piano, il sabato sera si sentivano comunque gli schiamazzi provenienti dai bar e dai locali della zona, tipici del centro animato di Porto. Non è stato un problema grave, ma va considerato se si è particolarmente sensibili al rumore notturno. Il punto forte è stata sicuramente la colazione: ricca di prodotti locali e specialità tipiche portoghesi, come pasteis de nata freschi, ottimi formaggi e salumi della regione, buon pane e varie opzioni calde. Non è la colazione più varia del mondo, ma è genuina e saporita, decisamente sopra la media per un hotel 4 stelle in centro città. In sintesi: un hotel ben posizionato, con un buon rapporto qualità-prezzo, ideale per chi vuole stare nel cuore di Porto e muoversi a piedi. Con qualche attenzione in più su comfort del letto, bagno e servizio di pulizia quotidiana potrebbe salire di livello.
