    We booked a Classic Room at Hotel Mundial based on Agoda’s advertised room size of 42 sqm. Upon arrival, we were disappointed to find that the room was significantly smaller, approximately 20 sqm, and located at the far end of the hallway, quite a distance from the elevator. When I raised this concern with the front desk, the lady acknowledged that they had received similar complaints from other guests. This raises an important question: If the hotel is aware of the discrepancy, why hasn’t it coordinated with Agoda to correct the listing? Advertising a 42 sqm room and providing one that is roughly half that size is misleading and should be addressed immediately. Fortunately, the lady at the front desk was very kind, understanding, and helpful. She arranged for us to be transferred to a better room, which we genuinely appreciated. We also experienced problems with the power outlet on two occasions, and both times, the staff responded promptly and assisted us. Overall, the hotel staff were courteous, accommodating, and attentive. The breakfast buffet also offered a good variety of choices. Our stay turned out to be pleasant, thanks largely to the excellent service of the staff. However, Hotel Mundial and Agoda should urgently correct the inaccurate room description to ensure that future guests receive what they expect and pay for.

    Rooms are very old. The door had even no door no., and CS not helpful. Hot water for bathing is not stable.

    Spent 09/27/26-/10/01/2026. Misplaced my passport ( thank you AirTag) showing the restaurant we were in the night before. Received it all in tact but unfortunately I missed my flight and had to stay another night. The hotel was accommodating and I kept my room another night. The initial cost through Agoda was excellent and my one night was 2/3 cost of 3 nights booking through Agoda. Some advice: If in a country other your own) IF YOU CANNOT FIND YOUR PASSPORT ALWAYS CHECK YOUR COUNTRY’s WEBSITE FOR STEPS TO FOLLOW BEFORE GOING TO THE EMBASSY OR POLICE STATION. I learned the hard way. However all worked out because the hotel, the taxi driver and the helpful people along the way made this situation an adventure.

    This hitels best feature is its location. But for its price it does not meet my standards for a 4 star hotel. The shower consistently was extremely hot than switchs to full cold. The room was nice enough but nothing beyond a regular best western or sandman experience. Will be looking at another hotel in Lisbon when I return.
