    We chose The Henry in Batangas for our anniversary getaway. While there were some truly wonderful highlights, several operational issues unfortunately kept us from getting the relaxing trip we hoped for. The Good: Warm Welcome: The staff upon arrival were incredibly kind, accommodating, and pro-active with helping us with our bags. Excellent Dining & Special Touches: The food was fantastic, especially the meals from Apartment 1B. We also loved the delicious Happy Anniversary cake—a very sweet gesture! Facilities: The pool, beachfront, and overall property layout are beautiful and definitely a major highlight of the resort. Massage Quality: The actual massage we booked was highly relaxing and very well done. The Downsides & Inconveniences: Unresolved Noise Issues: On our first night, there was a strange, disruptive banging sound around 8:00 PM coming from below/outside our room. On our second night, a large group with kids moved in next door. We were exhausted from day activities and tried to nap, but were subjected to hours of screaming, crying, and relentless door-slamming from both the kids and parents. No 24/7 Front Desk: Because the front desk is not staffed 24/7, we had absolutely no one to contact or help resolve the noise issue during the night. For a resort of this caliber, having zero overnight assistance for guest concerns is a major safety and comfort gap. Massage Communication: The relaxing effect of our massage was unfortunately drowned out by the external noise. Additionally, we were never advised beforehand that the massage therapists had to be paid directly in cash upfront. Not accepting digital payment or room-charging for this was a frustrating inconvenience. Verdict: The Henry has massive potential because of its beautiful location and great food, but they desperately need to improve staff availability at night and better manage disruptive groups so that other guests seeking peace can actually enjoy their stay.

    If you're looking for a relaxing beach getaway where you can unwind, this is a great place to visit. One comment I have is that they only have one swimming pool. During our stay, there were a lot of kids using it, so we weren't able to enjoy the pool as much as we had hoped. The beach was also a bit crowded, but the water was clear and clean. The food, especially the breakfast, was delicious. The room was clean, and the overall atmosphere had a peaceful and relaxing vibe. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely love to come back again next time.

    The room is a bit small and no table and chairs inside the room. And since no tv maybe a sound system would be appreciated. And a small refrigerator in the room will be an added benefit
