    Nice descent place. Great service and nice staff. However, the food is 3 out of 5. Good thing Hapag is just near.

    We’ve stayed at this hotel countless times, usually when there’s a scheduled power outage in our area. It’s become our go-to backup plan, and more importantly, our dogs’ unofficial staycation spot. The hotel is pet-friendly, and our two large dogs are always welcome, which is a huge win. We usually book the largest room with a balcony, which gives everyone a bit more space and fresh air - essential when you’re traveling with big fur babies. The room setup is basic but comfortable enough for short stays. The staff has also been consistently accommodating, and I’ve been able to negotiate a few things over the years, which is always appreciated. That said, cleanliness isn’t always consistent. Some rooms could use a bit more attention before check-in, and we’ve come to manage our expectations accordingly. Another point worth mentioning - mornings are not their strong suit. Breakfast service is slow. My husband in particular was not a fan of the long wait times, especially when all you want is a quick, decent meal before starting the day. Definitely something they could improve on. Still, despite the flaws, it’s a reliable, pet-friendly option that serves its purpose well. The location works, the staff is kind, and our dogs are comfortable, and sometimes, that’s all we really need.
