    Staff should be trained properly on how they handle repeat customers. Also, rules should be implemented to both foreigners and locals. Treating locals badly just because they are locals are a little disrespectful and discriminating. Instead of saying “you should follow the rules” why don’t they just be firm to their rules and do it to other visitors too. Very bad and disappointing experience. I would not recommend booking in a hostel who treats customers differently just because they are locals/foreigners. Consistency should be applied. God bless to all staffs.

    I was disappointed with the way a potential customer/visitor was handled by one of the staff members. My concern was not about the hostel having rules, it is completely understandable and reasonable for a hostel to have policies. What was disappointing was the inconsistency in how those rules appeared to be applied. I was approached and spoken to in a way that felt unnecessarily rude and unprofessional. The rule was strictly enforced toward me, yet I had personally observed a foreign visitor being treated differently under what appeared to be a similar situation. This naturally raised concerns about fairness and consistency. When I brought this up, the staff member said that if it had been under his watch, he would have enforced the same rule on the foreigner as well. While I appreciate that clarification, the point is that rules should be consistently implemented regardless of a person’s nationality, appearance, or status. Customers should not have to feel that they are being treated differently before a rule is explained or enforced properly. I hope management takes this as constructive feedback. Having rules is not the problem but enforcing them respectfully, consistently, and professionally is what matters. A potential customer should feel welcomed and treated with basic courtesy, even when they are being informed that something is not allowed.
