We had a great stay at Kapena Siargao and would definitely recommend it!
What stood out the most was the hospitality. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming from the moment we arrived. They were always happy to answer our questions and gave us great recommendations for places to eat and visit around General Luna, which made our trip even more enjoyable.
We also really appreciated the owner, who was very thoughtful and accommodating. Due to an unexpected situation, we were transferred to another room. It was handled professionally, and we completely understood the circumstances. Their effort to make sure we were comfortable meant a lot.
The location is one of the biggest advantages of staying here. It’s right in the heart of General Luna, with many of the island’s best and most popular restaurants, cafés, and other establishments just a short walk away. Everything was so convenient.
The only thing to keep in mind is that because it’s located near bars and clubs, you can hear some noise at night. If you’re a light sleeper, this might be something to consider. That said, they provide earplugs upon request, which we thought was a thoughtful touch.
Overall, we had a wonderful experience. Excellent service, an unbeatable location, and genuinely caring staff made our stay memorable. We’d definitely stay here again. 10/10, highly recommended!

Since the location is in the middle of the bars expect that it’s quite loud but after 12 midnight it’s all good and the hotel provides earplugs. 10/10 for the hotel staff very very nice and kind. The bed is so comfy, hot shower ☑️, shower water pressure is really good, I have a very good stay. I only have one concern “mosquitoes” inside the room.

So far the best room I booked in General Luna. Clean, spacious, comfortable. Bath and toilet is spacious. Bed is comfortable.
Location has convenient access to a lot of essential stuff. But the party noise is definitely an issue for sleep. Best for you g party goers, but maybe not for people my age.

Booked 2 rooms, as we're travelling in a group. First night the power went off so we had no air-conditioning overnight. Second, third night the toilet had plumbing issues (no we did not put any tissue down the toilet) the plumber advised that it was a roll on affected from a blocked toilet in another room. Forth night, which was the final straw for us, toxic fumes entered both rooms in the middle of the night as the generator switched on. My senior relatives and I have asthma, how can you sleep when you have petrol smell seeping into the rooms and have coughing fits.
The only good thing about this place is the great staff!
