    The hotel was homey and cozy. The food was great. But the best thing about this place is the amazing service.

    my partner have stayed at Verand 3 separate times now. And we truly enjoyed the experiences. If you do not want to listen to road noise, choose a room facing away from the road, and please book directly with the hotel. Offering airport pick up/drop off is a great feature they offer, for as fee. We will stay here again.

    We arrived on December 24 (of course, it was Christmas Eve and we understood that they were busy). However, upon arrival, we were informed that the room we booked (good for 4 pax) was not available because the previous guest had not yet checked out. As a result, they upgraded us to two rooms with single beds. One of the rooms they gave us—the so-called garden room—had a lot of ants, and worse, the toilet was not flushing. They gave me another room key so I could use the toilet in the other room. Overall, the breakfast was just “okay.” They offer free coffee, but their restaurant does not have many food options. Good thing we explored Laoag City, which is about 20–30 minutes away from the resort.
