    All is good when staying at casa Simeon. Food is good and so as the staff like Louie and MJ. More power

    The location is very convenient, near the market and close to our relatives. The vibe of the place is nice and chill—it even feels good to just walk around here, especially when it rains. Rooms are like 3-star hotel rooms, complete with towels and toiletries, which I appreciated. On the downside, we experienced drainage and aircon problems and had to transfer rooms twice (though in the end, we were upgraded to a family room). Some staff were kind and accommodating, but I felt the manager/owner wasn’t always welcoming and could explain policies better. For example, I was charged ₱200 for less than 6 kilos of laundry, and the explanation came off defensive rather than hospitable. Early check-in is also charged ₱100 per hour, which feels pricey considering many guests travel long hours to get here. Food is good though a bit pricey, servings are small, and the menu isn’t particularly local or unique—but understandable since it’s one of the main restos in the area. Overall, despite the issues with maintenance and hospitality, I would still recommend this place because it’s the most decent option you’ll find in Bacacay
